The food you eat, as well as the way you eat your food, can have an effect on the level of inflammation within the body.

Common inflammatory conditions include arthritis, asthma, eczema, hay fever, atherosclerosis, Ulcerative colitis. Even ongoing back or neck pain can result in an inflammatory state. Here are a list of foods that are anti-inflammatory effect on the body

Reduce Pro Inflammatory Foods Increase Anti Inflammatory Foods
Sugar

Junk or fast food

Saturated fats

Red meat

Processed meats

Dairy

White flour

Omega 3 oils found in nuts and seeds, cold water fish (mackerel, sardines, salmon and tuna

Seafood

Cold pressed oils, such as olive and sesame (try not to cook with these)

Soybeans and tofu

Lean meats, for example poultry with skin off)

Wholegrains (due to fiber)
